Fikus is the dream of Luisa and Francesco, a young couple, both born and bred Apulians, who ventured out into the world before returning to their roots.
They decided to swap their busy lives in an international city to a slower paced lifestyle in the countryside of the Valle D’Itria.
However, with Fikus they manage to incorporate both worlds- warm Apulian hospitality with a modern and slightly unconventional approach. Instead of travelling themselves, Luisa and Francesco now welcome international guests in their little paradise with open arms and open minds.
When staying at Fikus guests basically become part of the family. Breakfast is served at a long communal table and there are only three rooms in total. While it is easy to find some privacy- every room is equipped with its own private terrace plus mini kitchen and the grounds are vast and beautiful- it is always a pleasure having a chat with the lovely hosts who live on site.
The décor of the rooms is focusing on the idea of giving disregarded furniture and other items a second and often better life. It is playful yet sleek and modern.
By the way, Luisa and Francesco got married right here, on their land, and are also very happy to give other couples the same opportunity: a magic Apulian wedding or birthday or…!
