This group of trulli and lamie was finely restored in 2009 using local materials and retaining its original feel. Nowadays it is a comfortable complex of three units for up to 16 guests, which is relatively sober in its furnishings yet very aesthetically pleasing.
The main part of the building houses the well-equipped kitchen which opens up to a spacious dining area with fireplace.
The attached room, also with fireplace, can be used as a living room or additional bedroom. From here the corridor leads to two further double bedrooms with their own bathroom with shower each. In the adjoining part of the building a small kitchenette was fitted, and two more double bedrooms and bathrooms are available.
Every bedroom has its own private access to the vast outside areas, stretching over two hectares of gently sloping land, covered with Indian fig, olive and almond trees. A rose bush clings to the trullo’s lime-washed facade, while a majestic old pine tree welcomes the visitor at arrival.
Opposite the main building a lamia acts as a dependence with double bedroom, attached bathroom and lounge, which is fitted with a generous sofa that can also serve as a sleeping space for up to 3 children.
A large outside dining space is attached to the kitchen and dining area of the main building. The large wooden table fits 14 guests and is covered by a gazebo, keeping away most rays of the afternoon sun during the hot summer months. Here, at the back of the house, stone benches also form a nice area to relax and sit together while enjoying more views onto the verdant countryside.
To add the final touch, a pool completes the offering and enchants children and grown-ups alike.
Nevertheless, the positioning of the trullo makes it effortless to discover the many beautiful towns of the Valle d’Itria and the nearby beaches of the Adriatic, which should not be missed on a trip to the area.
For larger groups, friends or family, this is an ideal choice! The property offers the right set-up to spend time together but is spacious enough to give everyone the right amount of breathing space.
