Trulli Matale is where the owner’s heart and soul dwell- he has spent much of his time and energy to turn this property into the truly exceptional place it is today.
His creativity and enthusiasm for anything beautiful can be felt throughout. The gardens are vast and beautiful with a large variety of plants and trees- there is an orchard with lemon and orange trees, a small vineyard and of course, the ever present olive grove.
Many areas outside invite to sit and relax, take in the gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside and the valley below. For the young and the young at heart, there are lots of chances for playing: a football pitch, table soccer and a pinball machine. The garden and quiet country lanes entice for discovery, all to be finished off with a refreshing dip in the pool.
The interiors are full of surprises- an eclectic and very tasteful mix of treasures, old and new, sourced and carefully chosen by Gianpaolo.
4 bedrooms and bathrooms can be found in the main building, while a small and completely independent outer building can also be rented. It is equally beautiful as the main building, just on a smaller scale and ideal for 2 guests.
There is nothing missing here and actually you may find yourselves wondering why you would ever have to leave!
